The Story of Panda Meister

Dr. Wei Liang left her hometown alone at a young age to start her challenging academic journey in Europe. During her time abroad, she often found herself reminiscing about the delectable cuisine of her hometown, particularly Chinese dumplings.

In Northern Chinese culture, families celebrate the Chinese New Year reunion dinner by making dumplings together. This tradition symbolizes family unity and prosperity for the coming year.

‘Food, in my view, does more than simply satisfy hunger – it has the power to offer solace and convey happiness,’ Dr. Liang often says.

Our humble journey began with offering comfort food to students who were far away from their families. We provided them with a sense of warmth and familiarity as they navigated life on their own. Soon, word of our tasty, affordable, and cheerful food spread throughout the city.

Over time, our customer base expanded to include busy city workers, who longed for warm, comforting food after a grueling day at work. We adapted our menu to include quick, satisfying options like our signature dumplings, hearty dumpling soups, and flavorful baozi.

At present, we proudly operate four Panda Meister chain stores, offering tasty and fast food at reasonable prices. Our menu has grown to include a variety of Chinese specialties, all prepared with the same care and attention to detail as our original dumplings.

We are passionate about providing our customers with food that brings a sense of home, comfort, and joy. As we look to the future, we hope to continue expanding our reach, bringing the flavors of China to even more communities.
